Getting Stubborn Seeds To Sprout

As a greenhouse owner, I have had the occasional stubborn seed that just refuses to give a good germination rate and in a reasonable time frame.

  • Add 1 ounce 3% hydrogen peroxide to one pint of water and soak the seeds overnight.
  • Plant the soaked seeds as usual and you will normally see the seeds germinate in one-third to one-half the expected time.

Cleaning Vegetables and Salad Greens

  • Add 1/4 cup of 3% hydrogen peroxide to a sink full of cold water.
  • Wash vegetables thoroughly, rinse with cold water and drain.
  • This process prolongs freshness. I have personally kept freshly picked leaf lettuce fresh and crispy for up to 4 weeks packed in a ZipLocĀ® bag stored in the refrigerator.

Using Hydrogen Peroxide As A Treatment For ACNE

  • Use 3% grade as an astringent on your face, neck and full body after bathing.
  • Gets rid of acne FAST.
