Getting Stubborn Seeds To Sprout
As a greenhouse owner, I have had the occasional stubborn seed that just refuses to give a good germination rate and in a reasonable time frame.
- Add 1 ounce 3% hydrogen peroxide to one pint of water and soak the seeds overnight.
- Plant the soaked seeds as usual and you will normally see the seeds germinate in one-third to one-half the expected time.
